  auto(ritratto)matismo: ANTONELLA SARTOR N. 9 ALZHEIMER: TESTIMONIANZE DI UNA FIGLIA  ‘Il morbo di Alzheimer’ che brutte parole!!! Solo a pronunciarle ci inquietano, non le vogliamo accettare nel nostro vocabolario quotidiano. Ed invece sarebbe ora che imparassimo a conviverci ed a cercare di capirne il vero significato. Questo morbo esiste da molto tempo ed è stato scoperto dal neurologo tedesco Eloise Alzheimer da cui prende il nome. La parola Morbo [voce dotta dal latino ‘morbum’ deriva da una radice indoeuropea che significa ‘consumare’] diviene così sinonimo di ‘malattia’ da cui, entrando nello specifico, si arriva alla scelta particolare della parola ‘demenza’ che implica malattia degenerativa del sistema nervoso centrale che si manifesta oltre i 50 anni di età.
